Box Making Classes beginning March 2019

This comprehensive Box Making workshop is open to beginners and advanced woodworkers alike.
The course will be run over 10 weeks comprising of 10 x 4 hour sessions on Saturday or Wednesday mornings.

All materials will be supplied as well as all the tools required to complete the project.

It is comprehensive and entails many procedures and methods that will hold the participants in good stead for future Woodworking endeavours whether they be furthers adventures in Box Making, deviations general woodworking or Projects defined as Fine Furniture.

During the exploration of Box Making over 25 different Hand tool will be used by each maker. As well as a variety of materials from Solid Wood, Ply and Timber Veneers.
A wide combination of Joints will also be mastered not limited too but including. Dovetails, both “Through” and “Half Lapped”. Mitres, Dados, Rebates and Mortices. All joints are made strictly with only the use of Hand Tools.
